mellow whisper the passing wind
rattling the soundless tress
gnashing up a cool breaze
as a stream of floated sounds
a whistle upon cliffy bergs i hear
like a call of angelic snare
chaps of humming birds clung
upon the berg peak
i hear sounds afar
like symphonies in my head
like ones i hear as i lay rest in my bed
i hear sounds afar
i hear a croak of a war frog
the chook of a cowardly dog
sounding afar...
i hear sounds of war
