As a child, I had a special bond
With my mother, we were inseparable
Her embrace was my sanctuary
Her love, my unbreakable cable
We had challenges, yes, but together
We faced them with courage and strength
Nothing could tear us apart
Our bond, a force that had no length
Playing together, we had endless fun
Her smile, my source of happiness
But little did I know
That things were about to change, a mess
As I grew up, I realized
My life was different, unique
But it didn't matter, as long as I had
My mother's love, my comfort to seek
Looking back at those moments
I realize how blessed I was
To have a mother who loved me
Unconditionally, without any cause
