It hangs upside down for the masses of ignorant sheep
It was the freedom and the captivity
That you kept hidden until the serpent's kiss

The graves still decorate the balance of light and cold
The young and old
We are all just a number in a jar of flies
A moments desperation is now an eternity's hesitation.
And still you save the face of the one true person you pretend not to be
I can't define the lapse of mind
Time is the only one we can't get back nor find
If you took back the sunlight just to give up the moon
My apologies are futile and my sincerity exempt
Just like the crushing blow that decapitates my body from my soul
