Such a sweetheart of a cat
already 18 years old, imagine that.
She has been sick off and on.
But her will to survive is very strong.
She is tiny, and lady like and boss of her domain.
She will sit upon the window sill and admire the falling rain.
Her name is Spirit, she's the love of everyone's heart.
If someday when she departs,
it will tear her family's heart, apart.
