Lord I pray for wisdom
To speak when I have to
I need to have the freedom
So that I may not shame you
Anoint my tongue and lips
So I can speak the truth
Or should I just give up
Like in the days of my youth
Lord I can't stand by
And see how the nation cry
Pretending that I don't hear
When they tremble in fear
Lord I cannot walk away
So bless me with your love
Let my emotions not ruin
And add to the nation's pain
So many people need to know
You never stopped to care
Bless me Father as I go
Into spiritual warfare
