I took a walk today
In the sparse rain
Many people complain
We need to fill cistern again,
In High desert country
Water can run rather low
Even with the spring rain
Even with winter's snow,
I really worry not
Even in summers hot
For faith in abundance I've got
My Creator will supply our needs,
I'm thankful for every rain drop
Oft times I want it not to stop
In my ceramic coffee cup
Rain drop by drop I cop,
As the mountain snow melts
After a fierce driving rain
Water brings to here life
The Creator willing it'll rain again.
