Standing in Love

When someone is lonely and longing for a friend. They become undemanding and take anyone to try and help mends.

You give up a lot of your interests and desires because you are trying to feel loved and desired.

But if you’re not carful and allow anyone in. A thief will slip in because they know they will win.

They put on a mask to hide themselves which they can change. As long as they’re wearing one that brings you pain.

It’s love inside you that you try to hold. But you give up because you are scared so you fold.

Then there is times when you go for walks and you’re buy yourself. And it feels funny because it feels like it strengthens your health.

The pain goes away but there is no one to tell. Now you need to decide to tell who means well.

That person you found does not fit this shoe. If you told them they would yell and make you feel blue.

So you cry and you weep and you scream out to God. “God help me I feel lost in the fog.”

Then you realize it feels good to be alone and gone. So you pack your bags and leave while singing a song.

But it doesn’t feel lonely no not at all. God is walking beside you helping you stand tall.
