I looked at myself in the mirror,
And didn't like what I have seen.
I'm not trying to be mean,
But these wrinkles don't bring out a better me.
It brings out someone who is aging drastically.
Then I realized you don't get younger.
You get stronger,
So I smiled because these wrinkles are a part of who I became.
The person I am today, never believed in shame.
Now when people tell me that life must of been hard on me.
I smile, and nod my head,
Because, I get it, I finally saw what they see.
All these years,
All these tears.
I just got hit over what I missed.
I just got hit by your hypnotic kiss.
So time passed by so fast,
Standing strong, still living in the past.
