Just like a star
We count on alot of things
Ourselves, family, friends
Some shine brightest
While others shine dim
Others just disappear
Upon counting on myself
It ain't easy
With the harsh world
And scary thoughts
I tend to shine dim in my life
And there I vanish
Friends are cool
Some show up when we are at our worst
Give us support and courage
Others give us company
Some friends grow close
Shine bright and become family

Always there,
Some family members have become
Known to us as friends
We no longer talk deep with them
It's better that way
Some family members
Stand with us till the end of the tunnel
Shining bright like a star in the sky
As time escalates
Some family members become friends
while some friends become family
The circle grows while another depreciates
Be the star you want to shine in life
Either bright, dim or completely vanish
It's from this small things that we find happiness
