I love to gaze into the stars
It always takes me far
Makes me forget all I go through
My mindset is renewed
Takes me to a quiet place
Where fears are being erased
And my heart can sing again
I become a brand new man
Sometimes there are no stars
Than I remember all my scars
Sorrow that haunts me still
Visions of yesterday's revealed
But they are just mere images
Memories from previous chapters
My heart is set on what's current
