Live a life that you love
Do something everyday that you live to do
I love sports
I love to compete
I love to win
But I don't care if I lose
To me that means I have to work harder next time
When I started running I hated it
But then I started to love it
As I got older people wanted me to do more
I got plagued by injuries
I had other things happen
I was told I was not a winner
I felt defeated
I poured my heart and soul into my school
I gave everything I had to my team
Then my coaches would not even let me do my best events for my final meet
I stopped doing a lot of things
I did not know who I was
I had scholarships to run in college
But in a matter of 5 months,cit was all gone
I had to find myself as a person
I was no longer happy
Even at the time that I writing this I am not as happy as I once was
My coaches made me hate running
I run to have fun
Winning is not what matters to me
When I run it is a reminder that I made it
A kid that no one believed in
That everyone counted out
I was that kid
And my coaches made me forget that
Stay true to you
Sports can make you, but at the same time they can break you live your life the way you want
Don't let people tell you how to live it
