Step by Step

As I stand here looking back
With the sun upon my face,
Those damn valleys I've climbed
Have not been an easy task
That has not been no lie.
Yet, I accomplished my mission
With each step I've taken for You
Were there guiding through
With each step I took,
Encouraging me and letting me know
This is the start of the end.
Here's the end now lets start
As you standing there looking,
Back upon me.
Surely it is not an easy defeat,
For I've been there with you step by step.
We are just starting this is not the end.
We have many steps,
Many mountains to climb
Along with many more tasks to do
We will do them,
Together.
I will not lie they will not be easy,
We will make it over each of them
For we will be climbing those,
Damn mountains together
You are no longer,
Alone.
Take my hand as you have been
Taken my words
Lets continue this walk together
Step by step.
