My life has been having ups
and downs but still I rise .
I have been losing weight
and gaining pain, despite all
I still rise.
People would say words that
hurts, I'm talking about those
words that are sharp like
spokes that pierce's the heart,
Above that I still rise.
I would be shocked,offended
and hurt but now none of
them conciliate me.
I would burst in tears,
Cry myself to sleep,
but in all that I had
nothing to gain but pain.
I went through all
that but still I rise
