It was once said,
That where childhood ends,
Poetry begins.
If that is true,
Then perhaps I have been
Grown for a while now.
For years I have wrote my poems,
But I have never been a child,
I never had a childhood.
But when I imagine one,
It seems happy.
Like it should end
With happily ever after.
Perhaps my imagination
Will have to be enough,
Until the day I die.
My poems have never been happy,
They don't end
With happily ever after.
They end with melancholy and sorrow.
Such as life.
