A

Summer

Any gaggle of kids can cling
To the guidelines of Summer.
But it has yet to even commence!
Outside time,
It is rectifying their current anguish.
They stoop tirelessly,
Grasping at fireflies.
Children also delight in
The erratic dandelion growth.
Instruments they handmade for play.
Meanwhile, lacking a splendorous aura.
Hardships resting comfortably
At the feet of their faith.
The essence of fun,
Blindsided....
Precipitaion has started to fall!
Now stacking up at the abode,
Not yet ready for sleep,
The youth chatter endlessly!
