Summer

Summer (because it's winter now )

Summer will be here soon

Spring will be missed

Summer will be welcomed

Time for a a to-do list

Hot and humid days ahead

And the storms are plenty

Quickly the wind will pick up

Why can't it storm gently?

Walks will be more frequent

With the kids is so much fun

To the park or to the store

Enjoyable under the sun

Summer has all the festivals

And different types of music

Thousands will come together

They go crazy and then lose it

It's all in good fun though

Summer is always a blast

Everyone is singing along

Chilling out on the grass

Riding bicycles now often

Others are flying some kites

Baseball and of course soccer

They are all now within sight

Swimming in the nice pool

Or just lounging in a chair

Resting out in the breeze

Relax then let down your hair

Summer will fly right by fast

And autumn will then begin

Winter swiftly comes next

Spring then summer again
