We met while clubbing, my friend was with me.
We just wanted a girls night out and feel free.
I saw you dancing on the floor
Oh how I adored...
I saw you glance my way
You asked me for a dance, I said okay..
All night long you and your friend hung around us
You would smile and oh was that enough.
After that night, we started dating and spent the summer time exploring life together.
We had such an amazing time but I felt soon it would end, he wasn't my significant other.
He was just my summer time guy.
We met up near the bridge so he could break my heart, that was no lie.
He said he doesn't feel the same way about me like I feel about him.
So it's better we end it all now, I said goodbye with an upside down grin.
When we parted on that summer's day
I ran straight to my sisters arms I was not okay.
At that moment I felt like my life was over but in reality it was just beginning again.
Every heart break makes you stronger so your heart can mend.
