They say love is a special thing
as it's forever not primary.
But it turns to more beautiful
when you love the ordinary.
Everybody loves a Rose
as it has a special power.
But it takes a unique one
to love the simple Sunflower.
They stand tall
with there bright yellow petals.
With no thorns to bite
their simplicity, here it settles.
It symbolizes loyalty,
longvity and adoration.
Loving the simplest one
that may be your salvation.
They don't need a special power
or a special fragrance to stand out.
Their love for the Sun and simplicity
for them to be unique, well that is all about.
They make you feel at ease
they make you feel calm.
Standing in the middle of the field
when you feel them against your palm.
They give the feeling of adoration
in return they only need care.
They add to the beauty of nature
with being simple and bare.
Loving the ordinary was never easy
it demands the unique, not the cower.
As it takes a kind and unique one
to love a simple and ordinary Sunflower.
