taking in the view before my daily scramble
thoughts in my head are moving and start to ramble
lost in the beauty of the purple pink and gold
there's fresh dew on the grass
and air slightly cold
ears filled with sweet nature awakening sound
soaking in peaceful vibes before heading eastbound
such a pleasure enjoying this short frame of day
wishing my love present but she is away
gathering one more peek has I sit in my chair
this sunrise beautiful but to my love it can't compare
