Your memory blooms in my mind everyday
like a sunflower that follows the rays of
sunshine that you still bring to my life even
after you passed away because you've
always had the power as my grandmother
to make everything okay and you still do to
this day as you continue to shine on in my
mind like a beautiful rainbow that will forever
bring color to my life even on those emotional
days when the clouds roll in because your
memory is enough to clear the skies and
dry my eyes for a weather change whenever
a heartbreak begins to ache with pain with
your ability to stop the rain because my
memories of you keep you alive with your
blood pumping through my veins therefore
deep within my heart is where I'll forever find
both yours and Grampy's remains as I hear
him sing songs of love while he picks his
guitar strings from the heavens above giving
me the rhythm to live on and never forget
him with an everyday reminder that he lives
within me and he'll always be there to help
me along the way because in my heart is
where he'll stay therefore just because he
passed away doesn't mean he's gone just
as long as I listen to the music he'll be right
here with me where he belongs just like my
grandmother because both my grandparents
will forever shine on in my mind like a couple
of stars through sunshine and guitars
