Superstitions

You fancy an opal,
Or worse, black cats,
You're out of luck, Pal,
Go throw some salt
Over your shoulder,
On wood knock twice.
From broken mirrors stay away
Or else bad luck will come to stay
For seven years
What a bad pay!
Walk under ladders?
Then pay the price,
Umbrellas closed
Remain inside.
You found a horseshoe?
An itchy palm?
Don't worry, Lad,
Good luck comes fast
