Sweet Home Chicago Illinois Part 1

The place that I considered as my hometown to be is the city of Chicago Illinois, where
I was born and raised from. I grew up on the south side of Chicago Roseland area.
The three elementary schools that I attended to were at Dunne School, Alex Haley and Arnold Mireles Academy.
The high school I graduated from were at James H. Bowan Academy.
The Roseland street that I grew up from was dangerous and not a peaceful town.
There were reliable neighbors that you can depend on sometimes, their was a time during the summer you would see attentive parents walking with their children; kids having fun.
playing in their back yards, people driving fancy cars with fine style and luxurious
spinning rims and having their hip hop music blaring out loud passing through the streets.
My brother and me used to have fun in our back yard playing all sorts of kiddy games
such as hide n go seek; tagging and racing with each other on our bikes and scooters.
We would stay outside playing for hours until night time.
The grocery stores and restaurants in my hometown are so convenient.
For instance, there used to be a corner store on the vertical side where our house were, that used to have a logo sign colored with black and,
white letters named ''Food Mart,'' the store was made up of a rectangular components with brown bricks.
