I go the store most everyday
Try to bring a smile to those
Who wander my way
Few will ever snub their nose,
Yesterday and today I've spoke
I've made a lovely one smile
One who's smile raises me
So I try to conversate a while,
Here and now I'll speak
The good and honest truth
I enjoy the warm smiles
From this lovely name Ruth,
With all sincerity I hope
She shares her talent for poetry
I now her works will be unique
Much to be loved and enjoyed by thee.
