Swimming in the abyss

Swimming in this pond of heartbreak

All the ducks and geese have left

Tangled in a web of despair

My heart became a victim of theft

Rocking back and forth in my head

Swaying from side to side to side

Misery has me on a dinner plate

My soul has vanished and died

Without you I am just incompetent

Nothing to look forward to now

Anguish has become my friend

How much longer will life allow?
