P

Tale of a deranged Maiden.

She perches in the grubbiest corner of the pavement..
Contemplating the angelic hues of the sky at dawn,
The first rays of the morn sun-
That unlocked her dry eyelids..
She muttered something to herself
And her pale,dry lips broadened
As she let out a mad guffaw.
She was insane.
Murky,tattered clothes she wore,
That barely concealed her shame.
She quivered in the cold December winds,
Her coarse hands and feet numb.
She watched the people passing by the thoroughfare,
Sometimes moving her hand and making sounds-
That no human can grasp.
She lets out mad guffaws-
Petrifying the townfolk.
Oblivious of her actions,
Oblivious of the world around her.
Solitude is her true pal..
