A trance at first glance I behold,
the glamour of mirrored self I unfold,
looking at depth I was drawn into the inner light,
and in the light I was lost by the outer beauty of self love.
its love I gazed upon night and day,
and like falling grace I lust upon it's reflections.
sitting still by the river side, I tossed a coin to purchase a ripple.
and in the unsettling waters I picked up my coin and was struck by the bargain.
once again I was frozen cold at the Water's image,
I must have been crafted by a perfect thought I think,
for this beauty of mine can make fairy tales sink.
like a stoned monarch looking upon Medusa's ravishing gaze,
I bloomed into a tale upon my own face.
