Talk

Talk to me, let me out
Let me out of my own mind
Hurt, hunger, and anguish.
Silence, hidden behind shyness,
An excuse for everything I always thought.
Words never spoken, words never heard.
Words never spoken, words never wrote.
The mind itself a prison cell,
A place of which my already existing loneliness can dwell.
No one to talk to, no one cares.
No one talks, no one dares
Punishing people that punished me
By punishing me more than they ever could.
They'd never know, they never would.
That the person who hated me the most
Is that of who the mirror boast.
The first time I self harmed -
7 years old, only a child.
In private, tears, torment, and pain.
But to the world I faked, I smiled.
Teen years met with starvation
My weight a constant fixation.
The frantic feeling of not being in control.
This is my life. My black hole.
But I didn't need to fall this far
If only people said, 'tell me how you are'.
Your words are enough, they're all I need
Please talk to me.
Please, I plead
