TALKING TO THE UNIVERSE

Send the sun,
send the rain,
let my labour
be not in vain,
When the famine comes
again 'n' again,
May it not face
my home pathway
Where is the moon?
Where are the star?
Where is Sirius?
how great thou art
hundred billion in the sky,
None overshadows thee
up so high
Bring me water,
Bring me earth,
Gather my chi
and all that is left,
Oh strengthen me
heavens and earth,
Feed me more
with life and breath
Ring the bell,
Ring the bell,
Make it sound
as ding dong smell,
Let the sound spring
from every well,
Let the creatures craw out
from every cell
Let it rain,
Let it shine,
Put out the candle
of every shrine,
Pour out the liquid
in every wine,
May death never see
my house board sign
Wake me up,
Take me up,
Show me the earth
white rich salt,
Teach me how to build,
And mould red hut
Make me independent,
in my court.
