I have a tangled web of emotions
I have a hard time controlling them
My greatest assest of being human
My greatest limiter for living life
Everyday I have an inner battle
Everyday I lose a piece of me
Each time desiring to do more
Each moment becoming more scared to do so
This raging battle goes on for years
This battle is never won
Now the age of old I begin to whittle
Now I have finally won my battle
But little time I have to do as desired
Though this does not deter me
For with these emotions put in check
I finally feel as though I am living
