I enjoy crumpets
With my tea
With a dab of
Sweet jelly,
The perfect snack
Before my evening meal
I love them so for
They've such appeal,
Across the pond
They care for them not
Know not the joy when
They come the oven hot,
Crisp hot crumpets
With lemon in my tea
Can easily stave off
Any hunger in me.
