TEACHERS DESERVE RESPECT

He is a teacher
Not a cheater
He is a national builder
Not a corrupt leader
He is not paid like senators
Yet he seizes not to teach the doctors
He is the hope of every nation
Without him, nothing like formal education
Students don't want to become a teacher
Yet he teaches them to become bankers
To them, teaching is not lucrative
Is this issue not sensitive
He acts as a student's father
And sometimes like his mother
Yet his parents doesn't appreciate him
Saying, "teachers reward is in heaven"
He has successful in building a national leader
Yet he resides at the foot of a ladder
Struggling to afford the three square meal
And as well managing to foot his family bill
His joy is seeing his successful students
Even when he can't afford to pay his house rent
His heart will be fulfilled
And his wound will be healed
He is teaching not to own mansions
But does it out of passion
He needs to be respected
Not to be maltreated
A river that abandon its source
Should be ready to enter menopause
This is a wake-up call
A call to make our teachers stand tall
*God bless my teachers*
