That some people prefer things that last

You tell me about pendrive and the gadgets
Isn't it funny how love is the habit
To drive you over the edge like no tomorrow
Songs and poems written not borrow
You cant contain love in a box this large
Batteries run down and need to recharge
I'm forever and for always my dear
Something like my voice instead of phones for the ear
Just remember when the battery fades to black
You get irritated because a machine lacks
The things I can say and do

Three pennies for a wish into a fountain
Yes these seem like simple things
