Tell Me If I'm Enough

"Tell me if I'm enough? Cause I don't know what you need if it's not on the table. You say you want a man who wants only you, I devote my time, trust, and heart in your hands, but you leave my bed and fuck a bad boy opposite of what I could provide. Why couldn't you be a woman and tell me, you wanted to be played, used and abused? Why couldn't you tell me I wasn't good enough? Courted you, considerate to make you smile on the work of my hands, but you sought it fit to show me, that you'd rather have that kind of love that leaves scars you can't hide, names you find appalling but can you blame them, by how easy it took to lay you on your back, give you his love when that nut comes. Why you got to be so scandalous? After you find out you got a baby, and he's in the wind, or your infected with a disease, now tears are falling from your eyes, trying to figure where you went wrong. Why couldn't you tell me I wasn't enough? Thinking the grass is greener, but all you come up with, is things that stunt your growth. You say you want a man to help carry your load, but your so focused on dollar signs, and not on the blessings I give you, like my trust and time. You could've told me, what I was instored for, insteading of showing your ass, leading me to believe you was something your not. I hear you say men are dogs, thriftling and wouldn't know what a real woman looks like. Well, my thought on that is, if you start acting like one, maybe I'd respect you. If not, spread your legs, lay on your back, and let me bust, leave you and go to the next one. No different from what you did to me. Fair exchange."
