I was sitting and drinking
Just wasting away
When you entered the bar

After two or three more
You started to talk.
You ran off your mouth
About a girl in town
Who you planned to f*ck
If she came around.
You said she was easy

And then you said that

Is that it was my wife
You were talking about.
I stood up and said
So you think she’s a wh*re
Well let’s meet in the alley
Just through that back door.
You looked at me
And said I’d better beware
Cause you had ten friends
Who were gonna be there.
I stopped and I thought
And I just smiled at you
And said it don’t matter to me
Even if it is true.
You looked totally confused
As you wrinkled your brow
Then I pointed out they’re
Not here right now.
You knew you’d look weak
If you chose not to fight
So we entered the alley
That cold winter night.
As we exited the door
You sucker punched me
But I grabbed your arm
As you tried to flee.
I beat you and left you
Lying on the cold ground
And then waited to see
If your friends came around.
You’d told me to be wary
Of those tens friends of yours
So I sat there and waited
While I drank two more Coors.
When you came back in
I said where are your friends
Cause if they don’t show up
I’m gonna beat you again.
You turned tail and ran
As I knew that you would
Cause when I beat you
I beat you good.
Maybe next time you
Visit our little town
You’ll think twice before
Putting my princess down.
