This is a prayer,
More than I call a wish,
For those who believe in me,
Even when I act untrue,
them who shine a light for me,
Even when I prove unworthy,
From the deepest part of their hearts,
they lend a hand to guide me through,
Them who behind the curtains,
On their knees say a prayer for me,
it's the reason I've come this far,
them who pull me back to my course,
times when they see me go astray,
I wish I had the power upon me,
Maybe I'd bring the heavens as a gift,
I wish had the power upon me,
Maybe I'd hold the hands of the clock,
and make sure they had the best moments,
But I can only ask God for one thing,
Never let them miss a thing,
