They called you father of the nation
But there were lies and deception
I'm gonna call a spade a spade
All the promises that you have made
Not one of them were honored
There was bitterness harbored
I don't care who will agree with me
Many people might turn you'll see
Point is our ruling party is useless
They are hypocrites I must confess
Still blaming and pointing fingers
Like ancient protesting singers
One or two lines dragged out
I wonder if it makes them proud
To see the damage they have done
The beautiful South Africa is gone
All the remains are the remnants
Leaders that knows how to pretend
That they didn't flush out all the good
I don't wish to be misunderstood
They only kept the ugly and bad
Some good moments we've had
The problem is, they fed us lies
And the corruption just multiplies
Nelson Mandela started the lie
Thabo Mbheki I still salute you
Jacob Zuma rekindled the lie
Ramaphosa what can you do
Or tell us what we havent heard
I know it sound really absurd
We're on the verge of insolvency
And even the blind folks can see
