I try my best to be better
I wanna believe that I matter
And that I do make a difference
It's just that I'm denied a chance
To show what I'm made off
And what lies inside of me
To prove I'm more than enough
If they take the time to see
More than just the stillness
My true purpose is to bless
And even if they don't notice
And their demeanor is like ice
I make a difference somehow
I wish that I could do much more
But what matters is here and now
Until I can find that open door
