"The age of no destination "

I never trusted anything with
jewels and flowers
Couldn't except a life ruled by
death
innocence is given only to the
guilty
as the skin we bare breaks and
decays
after so many tragedies and
accidents
we carry only the cross of
someone else's sins
The pulse of determination as
it quickens with each assault
you pour the salt into the deepest
cut
all the while in wait, prostrate
for constellations well never see
aim for the eyes that drip poison
and pray to the evil that breathes
its force in every single lung
as we disappear.
