The animal within me is an owl,
living through the nights.
With my eyes wide open, they shine like the bright lights.
Watching over my youngsters..
and making sure they are okay.
Fending for their food and around them I will stay.
Loving them through thick and thin.
Flying over the trees.
Making sure everything goes perfectly, without a breeze.
