I healed hearts to be closer to the stars
Scars deep as my grave portrait the weep I try to save
Stains on my ink springing into the air widely as the inspiration
Thy say orange is the new black now
I'm tapping on prison walls to ever see dawn
Sitting in the plastered walls
It's the art in my heart that sweetness the seasons of distress
Virgin papers craving my confess
Thy catch a whisper through my mess
As nights descends; misery pick up the speed
It's not a sad deep
Just a blank to flip
The poetry in my ink suppresses the magic that I feel
The language of my art addressing my silence
Hold this: it's a nature's hand
The will of an honest mind
Look how the sun sleep
Weep until my hand grip
The harvest that I reap
My lyrics hesitate until they reach the stage of summer scenes
The ivory laughter
That's the art in my heart
My words weaves hills of truthful bliss
The kind hearts lack on a diet of lies the length of trains on a track
I am trailing a bag, broken open and spilling my truth in stacks
I am like a seasonal bird, constantly breaking boundaries 'cause I can't be caged
I am of a blood of a race, stronger but stealthy like wise words on a page
I can't be stopped; my art is like a heart seeking missile
Heading for the top, my heart's beat is always on a mission
Keep turning pages cause this is built on a vision
And I never give up for the art in my heart will be forever HOT!
Hot; glooming and painting Botswana with a strong economic climate
I see a smile on the new year of this message
I see hope in eyes of my fellow poets; they whisper; "we bring the poverty fate"
So my pen paves a way out of this corner my talent is stuck in; my art passage
Some days I write and some days I paint
Some days I fight and pour my rage on a page
And some days I pick a teary sister or brother and lyrically heal wounds deep inside
Above all; I put my bread on a table for the art in my heart is what decides my cage
My art
My bread
My voice
My eyes!
