The Atheist's Song
An atheist's faith is not in gods above,
But in the self to make a life of love.
No holy book or deity to show,
But the power of a heart that's strong and true.
Atheists may not have a god to call,
But the strength of courage is never small.
To stand on one's own and be tall,
That's the way of the atheist's soul.
Atheists may not have faith in prayer,
But they have love and friendship to share.
They may not believe in a higher power,
But they have the strength to live in the present hour.
The atheists may not have a bible,
But they have their own set of principles and ideals.
They may not have a holy book to guide them,
But they find solace in their own journey.
The atheists may not have a God,
But they have the courage to be good.
No book of scripture, no creed to control,
But an inner strength to reach their goal.
