✌️The Atheist’s creed
People ask me, why I stopped believing in god,How should I tell them that the concept of god seems like a fraud,
After seeing suffering and treachery around this realm,I want to live in a world where equality isn’t a sham,Where people wouldn’t have to suffer in the name of caste and creed,Where one wouldn’t hurt someone in the name of greed.
Although I understand this kind of dreamworld isn’t a possibility,Still, I can’t help but think that we should take that accountability.
For what I know the future is in our hands,Though the conflict of god brings chaos to our lands.
So just let them pray like a pious fool,And we’ll be the ones to trample all their self imposing rules,
For what I have is the trust in our humanity not in some false hope,While believing is easy, opposing the beliefs is like ascending a steep slope.
Nonetheless the steep slope can’t be climbed with ease,But it’s a cheap price to pay for our own peace.
