There are people just like you and me who let thoughts and dreams run wild,
who take a book and pen of ink and have imaginations like a child.
Those people are called authors and thought they're no different,
they're treated strangely by the rudest people who are truly so persistent.
But these Authors keep on writing and turn their thoughts into words on a blank page,
sentence after sentence they think as they go not hesitating to move to the next stage.
People may pick and shame but the Author doesn't care,
keeping their nose in their book writing ever thought they can share.
So next time you open up a book of fiction or non,
think back to the Author who wrote it and thank them for what they've done.
