I live for the moment and watch
life pass me by while watching
time fly like a bird in the sky as
the second hand unwinds as fast
as the light turns to darkness in
the blink of an eye trying to catch
my mind before the dawn begins
again and my demons settle in
and prey upon all my fears and
sins I battle that makes the devil
grin which seems to happen time
and time again throughout the
years of my lifetime upon this
never-ending struggle I just
can't win that I battle within
