A

THE BEACON

The starlit sky offered bearing
my escort through the night.
When the heaven darkened
it dimmed my way
and deprived me of guiding light.
I must find my beacon,
to let what's dead come back to life.
My capsized vessel weakens
the eternal red turns to night.
Conformed to comfort,
our sanctuary,
is it worth the uneasiness ?
It offered shelter and
a place to hide in silence,
spreading the disease in silence.
I must find a light house
before the death of light
becomes the blood of mine.
I must leave the forsaken places,
to transform the shadows & dusk
back into the light.
The grace of a moonlit sky
my only sanctum,
and the high seas only
sometimes keep me pacified.
Soon reduced into a final resting
Still I'm soaring,
(in my heart)
I'm still I'm soaring!!
I must find my wounded healer
to help me transform
what's dead back to life.
I must find life before
death becomes mine,
And I must leave forsaken
from the shadows into the light.
We can't keep inside, this life.
(this life will make no sense)
And are our eyes closing now?
It seems my life is making no sound,
I fear my eyes closing.
Revolting human, needing it all.
This sacred cycle of power
brought back down to earth,
even the best could fail this way.
(Keeping close veins of
meaningless movements)
Our finest gardens,
the reapers tend.
Beholders of the lost,
spreading through a blank earth,
covered in nothing, living.
I Swear this is living!
See me, so startled.
Today I had to ask myself,
or dare I, ever know.
See us, we are demented
Watch as our child like
attention span holds so fast ,
then goes up like vapor.
I don't think our love is enough.
Implicit shadow still shows its old face.
Searching for the soul innocence
through soulless ends.
Culprits, shudder from
apparitions of spirit left in time.
If we're honest, we'll see
sights unknown
Crowing, frozen, Awaken to see
there lays a tomb unbeknownst,
still sending me chills with
a blinding scare, so cauterizing!
Now with fingers pointing,
we sit and stare
At this proof, this living proof.
(All along existing)
Winding sheets dusty
light walls appear
with faint insight.
The grove is asleep
among shattered lanthorns,
like a wreath of smoke amidst
the wreckage unseen.
Are we too blind to see
whither the shadows drown?
Sheltered view
through a distant strife passage,
through a passing life.
Tenebrous face on the floor
up-stretching gaze,
dripping to the core
Barren mantles of
pining sorrow spread
their deadening evils,
as if it was all real.
Burgeons of doom grow
slowly for tomorrow.
(-Poignant existence -)
With empty hearts we dance tonight.
So the fires won't die.
I'll tip toe on broken glass.
To see if we still bleed because
bleeding would mean we're still alive.
