The bitter truth

As I sit down and try to figure out why
My heart dies and I feel so dry
I watch her toture every single night
Asking myself does she have to die
The bitter truth is she'll die
The more I pray the more I wait
The more I wait the more I break
The more I break the more I mistake
My mistakes turn into ice and makes me solid
The bitter truth is He doesn't listen
If he listens why then is she in torture
Someone who begs on her knees to conquer
Cries every night with pain why this torture
But I think you always say you are the comforter
The bitter truth is maybe you don't do your words
Hanging on with life like a dead branch trapped
Trapped by other branches not to fall down
But anytime it may wither and just drop down
I feel empty and powerless when I see her
The bitter truth is she's going to leave someday
I sleep like a rabbit one eye, ear open
My nights of cold chill sweat spilling slowly
Dry I am, My whole life is dry without her
And I keep hope and faith because I love her
The bitter truth is can't do anything but watch her
