you're sweet.
charming.
appealing to my eye.
seductive to my body.
your caress soft sharp sweetly light on my tongue.
your touch was like needle that pricked me yet killed me soft.
cold if you could bleed in jealousy you would.
you read my poetry.
you look right through me seeing like a looking glass
you captivate me with your alluring oura.
our love breathing slow shallow in your grasp.
never knowing that our love would stop beating.
that it would be our last.
yet you broke me.
you shatter me in pieces I couldn't replace.
I'm half of myself.
the other half you wished you'd erased.
barely breathing.
and black and blue.
I cried so many nights.
crying hopelessly about you.
knowing you are toxic.
knowing the poison just shooting through my veins.
I wanted to alienate you from me.
I wanted you to do the same.
yet the blood you spilled.
it kills me like lightning to rain.
I had to break away before you turned both of us insane.
knowing you were my ex.
but how does love supposed to bring pain.
you didn't love me.
you just wanted to leave me shivering in the rain.
as I walked home.
trying to forget about you.
knowing I needed to be any other color besides Blue.
so later on that night I was sent to the hospital.
hoping and praying you didn't leave me scarred and my mental health left on critical.
yet someone a stranger showed me the love you didn't.
they healed me.
made it better.
as you never forget about me.
in them years you wanted me back.
they all ended the same.
me happy in love with someone else.
and you feeling sorry for yourself.
with only you to blame.
