My brethren have we forgotten
That Jesus left us God's prayer pattern
These same principles applies today
The first disciples of Jesus said : Lord teach us to pray
This means that prayer is to be taught
Removing ignorance to nought
In most places the kingdom prayer has fled
Because many believe in men more than what Jesus said
To a ignorant world Christ is the light
And not because it is good means it is right
Religious & emotional praying seems to have us amuse
For many Christ prayer pattern have us confuse
Our Father prayer is what we need to choose
Only this Gospel of the kingdom is God's news.
