I knew the day,
Was going to be rough,
When I accidentally,
Glued my head to the table.
It was arts and crafts day,
I wasn't going to pass on that.
But then I got bored,
And fell asleep -
In a puddle of glue,
That I accidentally spilled.
Thinking quickly,
I realized I needed,
More time for thinking -
For I ,
Was in a tough situation,
Due to my stupidity.
I struggled and struggled,
But my head remained still.
I called for help,
But no one replied.
I began to panic,
Until I saw a book,
Just inches away,
From my head -
" Hey,
Reading material. "
I said in excitement.
I grabbed it
And turned it sideways -
To get a better look,
At this book.
" ' The Book of Evilness. ' "
I read out loud.
I turned to the back,
Of the book -
In big, bold letters,
It read -
' Warning: Do Not Read!
Within this Book,
Contains evil for those,
Who dare to read this -
Which is why,
It's called -
The Book of Evilness.
For those,
Who bring evil,
Upon this world,
You do so,
At your own risk. '
" Hmm ... "
I thought to myself.
" Sounds like an interesting read,
I think I might read it. "
I opened the book sideways,
And began reading.
The text from within,
Appeared rather foreign.
As if it had been written,
In an ancient language -
That had been,
Long since forgotten through time.
That is,
Until I realized,
That the book was upside down.
Hours go by,
And my eyes were,
Glued to the book.
No pun intended -
I skimmed,
Through the passages,
One by one.
It was saying,
Something about something,
About Evilness,
And whatnot -
Until one passage,
Peaked my interest -
' The Summoning of Ughleefug Karr. '
" From within this passage, "
I read out loud -
" He who says,
Or reads the name
' Ughleefug Karr, '
Is mostly likely,
To summon the elder god -
Known as ' Ughleefug Karr - '"
I paused in shock,
Having realized,
That I just said,
' Ughleefug Karr.
Suddenly,
There came a sound -
A strange sound,
That sounded strangely.
As if it was somewhere -
Somewhere,
Where I couldn't see,
But hear,
Through my own ears.
And what I can hear,
Was something strange,
To say the least.
It was the sound of something,
Coming from the room,
That I was in.
I tried to escape,
But I couldn't,
For my head was glued.
The sound got closer,
And closer,
And even more closer.
Until I saw it,
The thing -
The very thing
That I was looking at -
With my own two eyes.
To describe it,
Is hard to say,
But I'll give it my best.
It looked like a -
Before I could finish,
I was eaten alive.
