D

The boy with the broken wings.

In the cruel world,
Deep in the iniquity,
Lived a lonely soul
Who knew nothing of humanity.
Once was the soul,
Happy and Beamish,
But the fate itself,
Wanted his smile to diminish.
Visionary was he,
Full of emotions and kind;
But never did he knew,
His destination was very hard to find.
The moment did he open his wings,
To vanish up in his dream sky,
His wings were mercilessly crushed,
So that never could he fly.
The glinted eyes became hollow;
He changed to the heartless king,
As all he left was with destitute of spirit,
And the title of the “boy with the broken wings.”
